Leadership Tips & Training First Place Scavenger Hunt
Wednesday October 1st, 2003
To help reinforce the importance of preparation in First Place, I created a First Place scavenger hunt. I made a list of 10 items and gave them each a certain amount of points. Then I asked my members to see how many of the items they could find in their purses, bags, or pockets. Here is my list:
First Place Scavenger Hunt
* Filled in CR for this Week. (10 points)
* Old completely filled in CR. (15 points)
* Food Exchange Pocket Guide. (10 points)
* Bible (10 points)
* Sugar free gum or mints. (5 points)
* Begin Again Bible Study. (10 points)
* Bottle of water. (10 points)
* Food label (10 points)
* Recipe (10 points)
* Tennis shoes (10 points)
The person who had the most points won! I gave them a fun prize I bought at the dollar store. They loved it. I told them to always be prepared for another surprise scavenger hunt. It also made them aware of some items that would help them in their First Place journey.
