Allison Francesco is a Regional Leader for New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. She has been a FP4H leader since 2013 at Beach Lake United Methodist Church.  She is a middle school teacher and a consecrated United Methodist Deaconess who serves in the area of education, health, and wellness. She is a graduate of Penn State and has a Master of Education and a Master in Marketing from the University of Scranton. She completed her Health Ministry Certificate through the Wesley Theological Heal the Sick Program in 2017.  She lives close to the beautiful Delaware River on the New York/Pennsylvania border with her husband, Joe. They have two daughters, Carmen and Angelea, and are officially ‘empty nesters.’

Her first sessions of First Place did not work the way she initially thought. She did not lose a significant amount of weight; however, she gained so much more including a new joy in Bible study and prayer time. As someone with many health issues including Rheumatoid Arthritis, she has reduced and eliminated many medications as she moves closer to her goal weight. More importantly, the Lord has broken the bonds of binging and disordered eating, a battle since childhood, at the same time she solidified her call to ministry as a deaconess. She is excited to be serving as part of the FP4H ministry team.
