Speakers:
Helen Baratta grew up in the dysfunction of alcoholism, drug addiction, divorce, ending up leading a life far from God. Obese and unable to walk without pain, God transformed her life as she released and now miraculously maintains a 116-pound weight loss. Helen started her wellness journey as a First Place 4 Health leader in 2006 and now on staff as Director of Development. Read about it in her new book, Restored! Weightloss God's Way. She is a certified fitness instructor by American Council on Exercise, a Body and Soul Fitness Instructor, and Director of Development with First Place 4 Health. Born in Pittsburgh, Helen and her husband now reside in Hawaii. Helen passionately encourages others to follow God and lead for Him.

Shannon Greenleaf overweight her entire life, struggling with pre-diabetic diagnosis, and ready for a change, she embraced a healthy lifestyle. Shannon pushed through the emotional and psychological challenges as she learned a new way to live, and successfully lost and continues to sustain a 126-pound weight loss. Now, when she doubts herself or struggles, she turns to God. She views her body as a vessel that God can use to help others. Shannon serves on the Weight Watchers leadership team which has helped her lose the weight, remain accountable and stay on track.  Shannon will share story and a breakout session about the mental aspects of sustaining a healthy weight.
