The simplest way to make healthful cooking a breeze is to have the right items on hand. So what goes into a healthy pantry? Lisa Lewis, author of the cookbook, Healthy Happy Cooking, shows you how to stock a healthy pantry with some basics you should always have on hand. She will also share a few quick and easy recipes for some of your pantry staples.

Who Should Attend
Anyone who desires to cook healthy meals using whole ingredients for their family and friends and would like to get off to a great start with a healthy pantry.
What They Will Learn
Participants are taken through the steps to stocking a healthy pantry with some shelf basics. You will also have some quick and easy recipes to go with several of the items in their healthy pantry. Finally, participants will examine their own pantry and determine what changes are needed to simply their life.
Lisa Lewis is the First Place 4 Health Chief Operating Officer, overseeing publishing, social media and day-to-day operating functions of the First Place 4 Health office. Lisa's cooking skills have been a part of FP4H wellness weeks and other events for many years. She provided recipes for 12 of the First Place 4 Health Bible studies and is author of Healthy Happy Cooking released November, 2016. She is dedicated to bringing people together around the dinner table with healthy, delicious meals that are easy to prepare. Lisa lives in Galveston and is married to John. They have three children: Tal, Hunter and Harper.
